Natal’s new international airport  to be complete and operational by 2013, is located in Sao Goncalo de Amarante, 15kms north of Natal city and is set to become one of the biggest airport`s in South America. The airport will be for both cargo and commercial flights with capacity of 5million passengers per year (the current  airport has 1.2million capacity which gives a good indication for growth potential in tourism and foreign investment)

The runway is now finished and the passenger terminal will be built by this private consortium 1 year ahead of the World Cup in 2014 to be hosted in nearby Natal. The project is part of the federal governments stratedgy to develop the North-East of Brazil and this airport will provide a hub for inter-continental trade and travel as well as having a major impact on the surrounding area and beaches north of the city. What does this mean for Natal?  More direct flights from Europe and North America, more overseas tourists coming to Natal, more investors to capitalize on this growth, improved infrastructure, higher property prices and greater investment returns!!

Brazil Housing Development 73% ROI in 1 year.Figures explained on 10house project.

 
 
I have seen an increasing amount on-line advertising for social housing
investments in Brazil recently.
These development companies work in tandem with the Brazilian government
and offer attractive returns on investment with upwards of 20% return per

This looks like a safe and assured way to realise a good return on your
investment especially when interest rates are so low back home in Europe/
North America.However for those of you more inclined for a challenge and

                      Sales Commission=5%         42,500reals

                               GROSS PROFIT      342,500reals

Capital gains tax is between 1-7% for this type of housing development.
The 1% is at a threshold of 80,000reals per unit.When the gvnt
introduced this minha casa minha vida project 3 years ago they were
loaning 42,000reals per house so the mortgage amount(with lower tax
bracket for developers)has doubled and will continue to rise in the
coming years.
The guy who is selling the project has built 22 homes in the past year
and sold all.He has multiple plots and projects in this immediate area.
Expect return on investment between 9-12 months.
This basic formula applies to any amount of units.The demand for these
type of houses is massive as the majority of blue-collar,workers have
never had a chance to buy a home.
